I run around our property each summer morning, checking on all the nests! They probably all think I'm some harmless eccentric, because they keep coming back!
SherAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07918473679427192500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5542536756247313909.post-81864809367797149582008-06-18T07:48:00.000-06:002008-06-18T07:48:00.000-06:00We store away our extension ladder by hanging it o...We store away our extension ladder by hanging it on the side of the garden shed...and every spring a mama robin decides to build a nest on the ladder. It's an excellent spot as it is sheltered by the eave of the shed...however my husband has to postpone using the ladder until the babies have flown the nest. After a long northern winter the nesting birds are a soothing sight.
Trudy...your pictures of your Colorado skies are magnificent. It never hurt it, but I worried about it! And then we had one that built a nest in my hanging flower basket a few years ago too and we did get to watch the babies grow! It was so fun!
~~ TammyTammy ~ Country Girl at Home ~https://www.blogger.com/profile/15357964198971943168noreply@blogger.com
