President Harry Truman, in 1949, first designated Flag Day to be celebrated across America on June 14th, by signing an Act of Congress. However, Flag Day had been celebrated in a less formal manner throughout our great nation for many years prior to that.
Fly our country's flag proudly, not just today, but everyday as a reminder of what our country stands for! Be proud to be an American.......and remember the troops that work to protect our freedom.
