SETTING FULL MOON......WOW!!!

This month's full moon was said to be the largest we have had the pleasure of viewing in a long time...and sadly, we had a major cloud cover, and missed it for the most part. As it was rising last night, we saw it come up as a HUGE white ball. Of course, I was not at home and did not have my camera. This morning as the sun was rising and the moon was setting over the mountains, I was able to capture these shots....and another dozen or so!! Enjoy!! I see the moon...the moon sees me.....

Trudy,
These shots are beautiful! The last one is my favorite! It looks so serene. I could picture this as a post card or calendar. Thank you for sharing your photos with us. I really enjoy them!

trudy - were you in Co when Mt. St. Helens blew? We got the most amazing sunsets - the sky was a deep deep red every night! I'll have to dig those pictures out. This full moon was gorgeous too - my backyard looked like a floodlight was shining on it!
Hope you are faring well through the winter. I'm ready for another swap :)

I saw the moon too Trudy. I think they called in a Perigee moon. It was cloudy during the night but at the dawn I saw it with a wonderful halo around it.

We love feeding our birds too. We have two bird tables and a fat ball feeder for them to feast on. I just love watching them.

I love birds, too. There is a GREAT BACKYARD BIRD COUNT in February. If you come onto my blog you can click on the link and it will tell you how to do it. I missed it last year but this year I'm doing it! Like your blog, too. Linda
