As the sun and warmth of the day worked to melt away much of the 10 inches or so of snow that fell yesterday, I am in wonder at how the plant life emerges as if nothing has happened!! It is amazing how the flowers just rest under the blanket of snow, insulated, and then return to their former selves without any signs of the heavy, wet, snowfall that had them totally covered just hours before!!

Tulips in the snow. There's something terribly wrong with that - or maybe I have just lived in the south for too long!

Thanks for visiting, ladies!! Much of the snow has now gone away, with the great bluebird sky of yesterday and today. I saw 63.8 at one point this afternoon when I looked at our thermometer!!
