Short-lived....Signs of Spring!!

Although soon to be covered by a new coat of snow......here are today's signs of Spring here at 6,000 feet in the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains!! While folks are flying down the slopes in the fresh powder at the ski resorts up above, Spring is poking its head through the still cold earth. We have had several very warm days in a row....and this is the result!! Love to see this wonderful show that Nature provides for us!! I check on my little green sprouts several times a day, and am amazed at the changes....almost as if you can "watch" them growing!!

Ive got my day lilies and stone crop starting to peek through where the snow has melted close to the house. Most of my gardens are still under 2 feet of snow so I cant see whats under there. SOON Trudy, soon:)

Post some Spring scenery pics for us

We've got squirrels galore here too. Luckily we've got all kids of acorn trees to keep their tummies full. We do love to watch them. We've lived in this house almost five years and we've never gotten one pecan off the pecan tree in the backyard. I'm thinking of buying mine some corn cobs. They love those things. I've also got some Mexican Petunias that are starting to peek through, spring is getting close now!
