THE BIG SNOW....MORNING, DAY TWO!!!!

The local news reports that this is the biggest October snow dump here in the Denver Metro area in 12 years!!! Love it!! We at 6,000 feet, looking down on the city, are in heaven if you are a snow lover like me, or fit to be tied if you are not!! HA!! Areas up above us are reporting as much as 32 inches!! WHOOOOOO!! WHOOOOOOOOO!!!!! My spot on the deck where I have been measuring is now showing 22 inches, and it is still snowing!! However, this morning it is a lighter, more powder type snow. This storm is supposed to move out of this area, and out across the plains, by 5 or so this evening. That means blizzard conditions across the Eastern Plains.....stay safe and warm, my friends to the East!! Enjoy the pics!!

I can't believe you are getting this much snow already Trudy. Our temps are more like summer - 17 to 20C.

Thanks for visiting, ladies!! This snow is much better than rain, Lydia!! I LOVE the snow....can deal with the rain. Cathy, this is not going to stay...it will be gone once the storm passes, the temps rise, and the sun is out again. Enjoy it while it lasts, is my motto!!! Hugs, Trudy

My final measurement before the wind made a mess of my measuring spot was 25 inches!! Whooooo!!! Whoooooo!! Melting rapidly now, though.....and I hear we may still get some of that wonderful Indian Summer yet!!
