MARCH VISITORS!!

March.....already!!! YIKES!!!! I must get busy!! Where did the past two months go???!!! The first morning of March arrived here with the visit of two of my dove friends. I love them, and have several pairs that hang around. These were basking on the fence this morning, awaiting the arrival of the sun, just as I was. We were under a snow cloud sky, at that time, with the sun struggling to break through. Enjoy the pics!!

I love doves! We have some that come to the feeders now and again and they are so gentle and timid - I'm afraid the grackles and blue jays bully them!

I've arrived from Cathy's One Pink Goose. I'm a big fan of the mourning doves too and have even written a poem and a haiku for them on my blog.

Lovely spot you have here.

Lovely doves Trudy. We have a gaggle of collared doves that investigate our bird table most days. They are very pretty.

I have put your name forward for the Sunshine Award on my blog this week. If you want to collect it please do, but if you would rather not then no problem. I know a lot of bloggers are not keen on awards.

We have mourning doves all around, and I love hearing their lovely call in the morning. Take care, Martha
